Overwhelming scientific evidence tells us that our social connections are at the core of our happiness. But you don't need a lab or a study to know that being lonely is brutal. This week we'll do a personal inventory of our friendships, think about who we value in our lives and why.
Are social situations a chance to meet new people and hear new ideas, or are they utter torture that you dread for weeks in advance? Do you look forward to chatting with new people, or would you rather poke your eyes out?
