Yesterday I mentioned how change was a big word for me in 2023. Many of you echoed that and also planned/wished for it in 2024. Change is a constant companion.
Being judgmental is an essential survival skill - it's how we make decisions in the absence of complete information. But making judgments can become an unconscious habit that prevents us from learning about new ideas, new experiences, and new people.
As so many of you have mentioned, volunteerism and faith go hand in hand. Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, and more all place a high value on serving others. Regardless of your personal beliefs, it's clear that the core of what it means to be human is connecting with others.
As I'm sure you've gathered over the course of the week, I'm a big believer that hobbies aren't just a fluffy way to kill time - they're a pretty important part of our overall wellness.
