Who is trying to keep you in the crab barrel? It would be nice if everyone around us were rooting for us to succeed. Frequently, we encounter people who are not only not supportive of our attempts to better ourselves, but they will actively undermine us.

Reading through the many comments from Monday, I'm struck by the fact that most of us don't fit neatly into the idea of INTROVERT or EXTROVERT. There are introverts who love meeting new people but feel shy. Extroverts who get worn out having to be "on" all the time, and everything in between.
